Youth

High School Youth

Our High School youth meet each Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 pm between Labor Day and Memorial Day, and meet more flexibly in the summer. They complete service projects that they plan, they pick activities to serve others, and have fun events. They attended Service Learning Camp and the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans in the summer of 2024. Next summer they hope to plan a Mission Trip. Our High School youth have led worship, worked together in fund raising, and networked with other youth from the Northwest Ohio Synod. We are an open group and welcome youth to come check it out.    

Confirmation (Grades 7 & 8)

Youth in grades 7 & 8 attend Confirmation class with Pastor Dave. Contact the church office for the schedule. They engage in regular service projects and events with other youth groups in Northwest Ohio.    

Youth Groups for younger ages

Youth Kindergarten and up meet each Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm (between Labor Day and Memorial Day) except during Advent and Lent. Here they lay the foundations for adult faith.

All youth are involved in Bible Study and applying it to our lives. Youth bring events from daily life to our group and discuss them in the context of faith. We emphasize the practices of faith, like prayer and service. 

Sunday School

Each Sunday from 9-10 am, between the week after Labor Day and the Sunday before Memorial Day, we offer Sunday School classes for youth. We are excited to be welcoming children from age 3 and up. We at times have reduced Sunday school to every 1st and 3rd Sunday depending on attendance.
